I have four books out in the next six months. A bit like London buses. They are rather on my mind at the moment, as I have spent most waking hours of the past ten days amending the proofs. This is a laborious process, demanding an eye on the big picture as well as attention to detail. It involves scrutinising images as well as text. I confess to not enjoying it.
