Finally, there are my regular columns on the month's wildlife for Bird Watching and The Countryman magazines.
I have had two features published in World Birdwatch, about marine conservation and China. I have also written various news stories for the magazine and/or for the BirdLife International website.
The first review, by BBC Wildlife Magazine columnist Amy-Jane Beer, has already been published.
I've written a short piece about the book for the website of the British Guild of Travel Writers. And I hear rumours that the book will be featured in both national broadsheet and regional newspapers. Watch this space!
I've had quite a bit of other writing published recently. An article for the Wildlife Trust campaign #30DaysWild appeared in the magazine Scottish Wildlife.
A week ago, I received the advance copy of my new book, A Summer of British Wildlife: 100 great days out watching wildlife. Published by Bradt Travel Guides, it is now in all good bookshops (real and virtual). Advance orders are already in the hands of summer-focused wildlife-watchers across Britain, with trips being planned as I write. Remarkably, it appears to be temporarily sold out already on Amazon!
I was interviewed about the book for the Bradt newsletter/website and for the Natural History Book Service (NHBS) newsletter and blog.
